I have always had a passion for textiles, creating and sewing since a teenager. I studied art at A-levels and college. I enjoy dressmaking for myself and children.

I was lucky enough to win a £500 bursary through the Buckinghamshire WI, it was to be spent on a residential course. With my love of sewing, I decided to try Millinery. In August 2022 I attended a three-day course at Adrienne Henry Millinery in Reading. Learning the basics of the millinery materials Sinamay, how to block shapes, wire, embellish and style fascinators and hats, all whilst in her store. I fell in love with Millinery and haven't stopped learning and creating since.

I create bold, colourful headpieces, including hats and fascinators. I have a love of colour. I am inspired by nature and often include flowers in my work. I often create flowers from scratch myself. I’m always inspired when asked to match client’s hat and colours/styles to specific dresses to complete the look.

I love the vintage style and feel my designs often have a nod to the vintage era.

I love the creative process, from the initial spark of an idea, to playing with materials, to the time spent hand stitching.

My passion is to make unique pieces that make a woman happy and confident to stand out in a crowd. I would love to bring hats back into fashion, adding a touch of glamour from the vintage days.
